We don’t have any information about their life back in the celestial realm, but based on the current main story, they aren’t close together just for those reasons. However, they are also close together because of the times they shared.
I get that Beel feels guilty and that Belphie just wants to go back to how they used to be which is another reason why they are so close together. I understand why you don’t ship them, but most ships are based off of imagination of the character’s actions. It seems, to me at least, Beel didn't really consider having a romantic relationship with Belphie but Belphie would like to have one with Beel, and the MC if you'd decide to romance him.Īnd to be fair, Asmo seems like he wants to get in his brothers' pants anyway so a non-platonic relationship between the brothers definitely seems possible. Beel usually talks about Belphie to the MC as a doting older brother would but usually doesn't really speak about Belphie in any other aspect but brotherly and hasn't seemed to consider anything more.īut Belphie seems to care about the MC's (romantic?) opinion of Beel if you too like it affects him too. Honestly seems to me that if the either of the brothers had more than just brotherly feelings, or at least realised it was more than just platonic feelings they had for their brother, it would be Belphie. I don’t mind if I get criticized for this later. Like i said, its based on imagination, but not entirely made up. I find it really cute how Beel can’t just ignore Belphie ”being sent to the human world” and how Belphie wants to live together with Beel and MC. Clearly Beel and Belphie care for each other as brothers and share bias towards each other compared to the other brothers. With any other yaoi/boyxboy ship, most of it comes to imagination based on the actions of the characters.
This is one of the reasons why I’m totally fine with Asmo being flirty with the brothers other than it’s just cute. Lets jump right into the big issue! There is no evidence that the brothers are connected by blood, and the story and dialogue suggest that they were created (by I assume magic and power) rather than being “born”. Since I know people don’t condone incest (I don’t either in most cases) I want to give my reasoning to why I like these two together. But when u/its-screech submitted fanart of it I gained the courage to talk about it. I’ve been worried about what people would say if I gave my opinion on Beel and Belphie being a ship because of the trouble it would cause.
